Privacy Notice

This notice explains what MiaBuild, operated by MIA Global Technologies, LLC, collects and why. Contact: info@miaglobaltechnologies.com.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, a hashed password (we cannot read your password), role, and for professionals their registration body and number.
• Project details: the briefs, plot sizes, rooms, styles, taste choices (such as colours, materials and who lives in the home), comments and designs you create. Professionals you invite to a project can see these details for that project only.
• Plans you upload: the file is sent for reading and is not kept by MiaBuild after the reading; we keep the reading result (room names, sizes and notes) so you can reopen it without paying again.
• Drawings and photos on quote requests: files you attach are kept with the request and can be opened only by you and the suppliers the request reaches.
• Pictures and clips: the prompts and results of Studio requests.
• Suppliers and transport providers: shop or company name, town, phone number and prices, which are shown to clients who see a quote. Offers and orders show the other party's name.
• Payments: handled by our payment provider; we receive confirmation and the credits bought, not card numbers.
• Technical records: sign-in and security logs, and the date and version of the terms you accepted.

Why, and who helps us

We use your information to run your account, produce what you ask for, take payment, keep the service secure, and meet legal duties. We do not sell your personal information. Service providers process data for us only to provide the service:

• Amazon Web Services: hosting and database (Frankfurt, Germany region).
• Anthropic: reads uploaded plans and produces some text.
• fal.ai: creates pictures and clips from Studio prompts.
• Stripe: card payments.

Data may therefore be processed outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union.

Emails we send

We email you only about your own account: password reset links, project invitations, and notices when another user answers a request or sends an offer to you. We do not send marketing email. Emails are sent through Amazon SES.

Keeping it

We keep account and project data while your account is open and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal and security reasons. You can archive projects in the app; to have your account and data deleted, email us.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, and, depending on where you live, to object to or restrict some uses. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Security

We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

Children

MiaBuild is not for people under 18.

Changes

We will update this notice when our practices change and show the version and date at the top.
