Terms of Use

MiaBuild is operated by MIA Global Technologies, LLC, a Colorado limited liability company ("MIA Global", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using MiaBuild you agree to these terms.

1. What MiaBuild is, and is not

MiaBuild is software that produces concept-level house layouts, drawings, images and indicative information from the details you give it. MiaBuild is not an architect, engineer, surveyor, quantity surveyor or legal adviser, and it does not provide architectural, engineering or other professional services.

Everything MiaBuild produces is a draft. It is not permit-ready, not structurally verified, not a cost guarantee and not suitable for construction until reviewed, developed and signed by professionals licensed where the building will stand. You must not build, buy materials, or submit anything to an authority on the strength of MiaBuild output alone.

2. Content drafted by the system

Some features are automated, using computer models run by our service providers (for example reading an uploaded plan, creating pictures and clips, and drafting the notes and schedules that professionals review). The system's output can be wrong, incomplete or misleading, including misread room names and sizes. You are responsible for checking it. A professional who signs a draft takes responsibility for it. Items labelled "Simulated", "Synthetic", "Estimated" or "Needs professional review" are labelled that way for a reason.

3. Planning rules and prices

Planning, zoning and building rules shown in MiaBuild are starting values. Unless a rule is marked as verified with a source, treat it as "to confirm" with the local authority. Prices, supplier quotes and cost ranges are indicative only and are not offers. Rules, prices and availability change.

4. Your content and plans you upload

You keep ownership of what you upload and create. You give us permission to process it to provide the service (including sending it to the service providers listed in the Privacy Notice).

You confirm that you own each plan, drawing or photo you upload, or that you have permission to upload it. Architects and designers usually hold the copyright in their drawings. Do not upload material you are not allowed to use. MiaBuild reads a plan to help you describe your brief; it does not copy or trace the drawing, and you must not present MiaBuild output as the original designer's work. We may remove content and suspend accounts where we receive a credible rights complaint.

5. Professionals

Architects and engineers who join MiaBuild confirm that the registration details they give are true and current, and that they remain solely responsible for any professional advice, review or sign-off they give. A review on MiaBuild is only as wide as the professional states.

5A. Suppliers, transport providers, offers and orders

Suppliers and transport providers list their own products, services and prices on MiaBuild. MIA Global is not the seller, buyer, carrier or agent in any sale or delivery, and is not a party to any offer or agreement that you make with a supplier or provider. Prices, stock, quality, delivery and any warranty are the responsibility of the supplier or provider. Quotes are indicative and not binding until the supplier accepts your offer. Suppliers must list only goods they are entitled to sell and keep prices current; prices expire after 30 days unless renewed.

Offers, counter-offers and accepted orders are recorded on MiaBuild as a convenience. Online payment is not currently available; until it is, you agree payment and delivery directly with the supplier. If online payment is added, payments will be handled by a licensed payment provider under its own terms, and we will update these terms first.

6. Credits, payments and refunds

Studio pictures and some features use credits as shown at purchase. Credits do not expire. A picture, clip or plan reading that fails is refunded in credits automatically. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store card numbers. Other refund requests are handled case by case under the law that applies to you, and nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use MiaBuild to break the law, infringe others' rights, create misleading or harmful content, attempt to access other users' data, probe or overload the service, or resell it without our written agreement. We may suspend or end accounts that breach these terms.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep MiaBuild available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change. Some features are in test and say so.

9. Limits of our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, MiaBuild is provided "as is", and MIA Global is not liable for loss caused by relying on concept output as if it were professional advice, for construction or purchase decisions, for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to fix a problem informally.
